Golf, Delta earn second win in Cekalco

GOLF-Red crushed Delta-Violet, 97-86 while Bravo-Pink beat Ivanhoe-Blue, 105-96 Friday night as both teams improved to 2-1 (win-loss) in the Seniors Division of the CEKALCO-2013, Mayor Mike Rama Cup Inter-color basketball tournament.

Bravo led in all three quarters and was only slightly challenged in the fourth when Ivanhoe outscored it, 27-20.

Meanwhile, Golf-Red also led from start to finish to hand presidential team Delta-Violet of Roland “El Presidente” Sameon its second consecutive loss for a 2-2 card

Gino Almencion led Golf-Red with 26 points while former USC Warrior Ritchie Garcia and skipper Kit Arellano added 23 and 18 points, respectively. Juniel Villarosa paced Delta with 39 points while Julius Gutierez chipped in 24 markers.
