3 private arm group members nabbed in Nueva Ecija
MANILA, Philippines—Authorities have nabbed three members of an alleged local private armed group and seized high-powered firearms in Nueva Ecija.

Criminal Investigation and Detection Group operatives in Nueva Ecija arrested the suspects in their homes in San Antonio town at around 6:30 a.m. last Saturday, CIDG chief Director Samuel Pagdilao Jr. said Friday.
Pagdilao identified those arrested as Crisanto Cunanan, Saturnino Miranda, and Domby Guinto. Eleven high-powered fire arms and ammunition were also seized from the suspects, he said.
Confiscated from Miranda’s residence were one M16 rifle, one shotgun, two caliber .45 pistols, and one caliber .9mm pistol. Seized from Cunanan’s home were an M16 rifle and a caliber .45 pistol while authorities found a shotgun and a caliber .9mm pistol in Guinto’s residence.
