Building fire kills at least 17 people in Beijing

BEIJING—Chinese state media say at least 17 people were killed in a fire in a four-story building in southern Beijing.

The official Xinhua News Agency says the fire broke out early Monday and that 24 other people were hurt.

It did not immediately give a cause for the blaze.
