Anomaly story slammed

FORMER 6th district representative Nerissa Soon Ruiz yesterday questioned the motives of the two barangay captains who accused her of having ghost projects during her last term.

Former Pakna-an barangay captain Oscar Mendoza and former Tabok barangay captain Dario Tariman showed documents from the Commission on Audit which questioned the alleged ghost projects during Soon-Ruiz’s 2007 to 2009 term.

Soon-Ruiz, however, denied the accusations. She called Mendoza and Tariman’s statements  as politically-motivated.

“Let them investigate so they will find out. My conscience is clear. I have nothing to do with it,” she said.
