The Gaisano Capital South-University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters tries to right the ship today as they take on the hapless Raphael’s Sports Bar-University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Jaguars in the 2013 Enervon-Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) Partner’s Cup at the Cebu Coliseum.
At 4-2 (win-loss), the Webmasters are currently running in second place behind the undefeated Prime Asia-University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers.
However, their second loss came just days ago at the hands of the Cebu Landmasters-University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors, 78-91, in a game that saw them get flustered with the physical play of their opponents.
Arnaud Noah topped UC with 22 points in that game but the rest of the team struggled to make shots, which led to the deflating defeat.
The Jaguars, on the other hand, are looking for light to shine on their dreary campaign as they have yet to win a single game in this competition.
Meanwhile, the Cebu Landmasters-USC Warriors will also be in action this afternoon as they are set to battle the San Marino Corned Tuna-Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT) Wildcats, which lost their last outing in embarrassing fashion to the Prime Asia-UV Lancers, 71-101.
