7 hurt as bus falls on its side on Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City
MANILA, Philippines – Seven people were injured when a passenger bus fell on its side in Quezon City Wednesday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.
Bravo 23 of MMDA-Metrobase said the wayward bus belonged to the Jackpherlyn Bus company plying the Quiapo-SM Fairview route.
The accident, the MMDA said, occurred on Litex Road, Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City at 2:15 p.m.

The agency said the injured were brought to the East Avenue Medical Center.

In a separate interview, Crisanto Gragasin of Quezon City Traffic sector 5 quoted the bus driver as saying that he had a problem with the steering and he lost control of the vehicle.
The bus then hit the center island and eventually fell on its side.
