Lose some, win some for 2 foreigners
It was a happy ending for an American who lost—and found—his iPhone 4S on Thursday.
But not so for another foreigner who is still missing his bag containing a laptop, cell phones and important documents.
John Knudsun sought the assistance of the Northern Police District’s Special Operations Unit on Friday when he discovered that his iPhone 4S was missing.
Police used the phone’s built-in Global Positioning System (GPS) capability to track down the phone that was later traced to a house in Barangay 171, Bagumbong, Caloocan City.
Police scoured the area and found the phone, which was later returned to Knudsun. It is not yet known if a suspect had been identified in the incident, or if the victim will file charges
Meanwhile, David Charles Sutherland, a British national and an official of the World Health Organization, lost his bag while he was dining with his staff inside a restaurant at Robinsons mall in Ermita, Manila, also on Thursday.
