Hot weather continues with showers in parts of PH–Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Warm weather will likely continue even as the whole country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly over the eastern section due to easterlies, the state weather bureau said Thursday.

Easterlies are winds blowing from the east.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over Visayas and Mindanao. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Administration said.

A temperature of up to 36 degrees Celsius was seen in Metro Manila and some parts of Luzon, Pagasa’ daily extended weather outlook said.
