5,701 pass out of 13,000 examinees in Criminologist Licensure Exam

MANILA, Philippines—The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday said that of the more than 13,000 examinees who took the Criminologist Licensure Examination, 5,701 successfully passed the test given weeks ago.

PRC said top performing schools in the April 2013 licensure test were the University of the Cordilleras with 100 percent passing rate, Lipa City Colleges with 94.83 percent passing rate, University of Baguio with 87.27 percent passing rate, and the University of La Salette-Santiago with 80.50 percent passing rate.

The test was given by the Board of Criminology in cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

“The date and venue for the oath-taking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination will be announced later,” PRC said, adding that the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration is set on May 9, 10 and 14.

Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; present Community Tax Certificate (cedula); two sets of metered documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope with name and profession.

PRC also said that the initial registration fee is P600, while the annual registration fee is P450 for 2013-2016.
