Three robbed in Naga

TWO armed men robbed three jeepney passengers in Naga City yesterday.

Richie Murillo, 26;  Lovely Faunillan, 23, of Minglanilla town, and Janny Flor Belecano, 25, of Oppra, Cebu City, lost their bags, cell phones, and money to the two robbers.

Investigation showed the victims were riding a passenger jeepney from Naga City to Cebu City together with two other male passengers.

As the jeepney was traveling in Naga City at 2:45 a.m., the two men suddenly pulled out guns and announced a holdup.

After the robbers took their cash and belongings, they got off from the jeepney and rode a black scooter driven by a cohort, which was following the jeepney.

They fled towards the south. The victims reported the incident to the Naga Police Station.
