Luzon bettor wins P132-M Grandlotto jackpot prize – PCSO

MANILA, Philippines — A lucky bettor from Luzon won the much-coveted Grandlotto 6/55 jackpot prize worth P132 million during the Saturday night’s draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.

The winner bought the winning ticket at a lotto outlet in Cainta, Rizal, and picked the right combination 7-27-48-53-11-31, Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, PCSO general manager, said.

The Luzon bettor had yet to claim the tax-free prize, a total of P132,004,796.40, as of Sunday.

Another Luzon bettor who bought his or her ticket at a lotto outlet in Caloocan City won the P9.6 million jackpot prize during the lotto 6/42 draw on Saturday by guessing the winning combination of 33-15-25-12-31-19.

On Saturday, ticket sales reached P66 million for the GrandLotto 6/55 draw and P18 million for the Lotto 6/42 draw, Rojas said.

Last week, a 63-year-old Makati resident claimed his share of the P51-million 6/42 jackpot prize at the PCSO headquarters. The winner, who according to PCSO is a former civilian employee at the US military base in Subic, Zambales, took home P26 million.
