EA Regen cagers trip Fruitas
RAYMUND Almazan once again towered over his opponents yesterday, scoring 20 points and hauling 14 rebounds while Jonathan Semira scored all of 15 his points in the third period as the EA Regen pulled off a, 74-63 win over the Fruitas Shakers in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Semira shot 3-of-5 from the field and made 7-of-8 free throws to set the tone of the rout as Team Delta rolled to their third straight win. EA Regens outscored Fruitas, 25-14, in the said period. They are now tied for third place with the reigning champions, NLEX Road Warriors and their victims with identical 4-2 (win-loss) records. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
