Death in the cemetery

A man was stabbed dead inside the Tugatog Cemetery in Malabon City on Sunday night after being robbed by still unidentified suspects.

The Malabon Police said the unidentified victim was about 25 years old, 5’4” in height, wearing a black shirt and shorts, and has a tattoo on his right arm of a rose with the writing, “IHA JR.”

Police said witnesses saw the man enter the Tugatog Cemetery at around 10 p.m. on Sunday. Two men then grabbed his clutch bag but the victim resisted and was stabbed.

Bystanders took the victim to the Pagamutang Bayan ng Malabon, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police are now seeking relatives of the victim and  looking for the two suspects.—Nathaniel R. Melican
