Woman shot dead in front of house
A woman was gunned down by two men in front of her house in Quezon City on Sunday night.
Joan de la Cruz, 22, of Barangay (village) Gulod in Novaliches, died upon reaching the Novaliches General Hospital following the 9:10 p.m. shooting.
Case investigator PO2 Alvin Quisumbing said the victim was standing in front of her house on Masaya Republic street when the two suspects arrived and shot her.

The suspects quickly fled on foot as the victim fell to the ground. A witness rushed the victim to the hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
Quisumbing said they were still looking for leads as the family and other residents had refused to talk.—Julie M. Aurelio
