Sanchez siblings dispute worsens

THE feud between the children of the late vice governor Gregorio Sanchez has taken a turn for the worse.

Grecylda “Gigi” Sanchez-Zaballero called on government agencies concerned to help her and the Sanchez family re-commit her brother Greco to a rehabilitation center.

In a phone interview last night, Gigi said Greco recently stole items from their factory in barangay Catarman in Liloan town yesterday afternoon.

A staffer who refused to be named for security reasons said this is the third time that Greco has done it.

Among the items stolen were a generator set, printer, computer set, fire extinguishers, a TV set and a key from one of their trucks.

The Sanchez family owns a factory in Catarman that manufactures the Lacto Pafi health products. The staffer said Greco always tags along with two motorcycle riding armed men.

“The employees are terrified of him,” the staffer said.

Greco took the yacht and brought it to a portion at the South Road Properties (SRP) near barangay Pasil in Cebu City yesterday afternoon.

The staffer also said that Greco took the golf set owned by a certain Joy Climaco who works for a bottling company and rents an adjacent office in their plant.

Gigi, who’s running for a Provincial Board (PB) seat representing Cebu’s 5th district, said she is seeking protection from Greco saying he has already become a “threat to the community” since he is armed.

Gigi said she fears for her family and her employees.

She also urged commercial establishments to report to police on Greco’s misbehavior. Correspondent Carmel Loise Matus
