RENATO Reyes emerged victorious in the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association’s (CETBA) Past Presidents and Directors Bowling Tournament held last April 9 at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Reyes completed a come-from-behind win after he was trailing Alexander Lagcao and Vivian Padawan for most part of the tournament before coming in strong at the latter stages en route to the victory.
Reyes finished the six-game series with a total of 1,223 pinfalls while Lagcao claimed second place with a total of 1,213. Padawan rounded off the top three bowlers with 1,206 pinfalls.
Meanwhile, Padawan topped the singles event with 1,189 pinfalls, edging Japanese CETBA member Makoto Osada, who claimed second place with 1,185 pinfalls. Ana Cabiasa placed third with 1,174 pinfalls.
Makoto and Emie Osada lorded the doubles competition with a combined 2,349 pinfalls.
Lagcao and Padawan’s tandem bagged second place with 2,309 pinfalls while Sonia Gakenholz and Cabiasa’s pair finished off third with 2,270.
