MANILA, Philippines – Two policemen were hurt in a shootout with suspected criminals in Batangas Tuesday morning, three of who had been arrested, an official said.
The unidentified men exchanged fire with San Juan police past 9 a.m. although the details that led to the shooting are not clear, said Chief Superintendent Gil Meneses, Calabarzon (Cavite-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon).
