THE CEBU Customs Invitational Tournament 2013 is set to kick off today with a twinbill over at the Benedicto College gym along A.S. Fortuna in Mandaue City.

Kicking off the festivities will be games between the Bureau of Customs and the Bureau of Internal Revenue at 7 p.m. followed by the tiff between the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and the Solarlink-University of San Carlos ’86.

Teams will play a double round-robin in their respective divisions with the top four squads in each class advancing to the quarterfinals. The higher seeds will own a twice-to-beat advantage with the winners moving on to the semifinal round. The semis will be a knockout affair while the championship will be decided in a best-of-three series.

The teams in Bracket A are BIR, BOC, CCBI Brokers, MJDL Titans and the Alin Golden Lions. Bracket B is composed of IBP, PHIC, CIPU Warships, Global Rollway Warriors and USC ’86. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
