SFC Visayas conference on Aug. 12

THE Singles for Christ Visayas Island Conference (VisCon) 2011 will be held on Aug. 12-14 in Bantayan Island, northern Cebu.

Activities lined up are pastoral talks, creative production number, outdoor activities and community service.

The conference will also tackle the challenges of being single men and women and how to overcome these challenges by God’s grace and guidance.

The conference aims to nurture spiritual growth among the participants from SFC chapters throughout the Visayas.

“Its inspiration through the power of the Holy Spirit has always been a life-changing, defining moment and experience for each and every SFC,” said SFC chapter head Tristan Abando.

“It’s been a nice and fruitful experience the first time I joined the VisCon. Sadly, I won’t be able to participate this year due to other commitments. But for sure, those who will attend will learn many things and it will somehow change their lives spiritually,” Adelyn Siega, an SFC member said.

During the event, participants will also showcase their God-given talents through creative and sports competitions.

VisCon is the biggest gathering of SFC in the Visayas Islands. This is follow-through for the SFC International Conference held every February.

This year’s theme for VisCon is “Putting on the full armor of God” (Ephesians 6:10-18).

The registration fee is P799, inclusive of meals and kit. The conference is exclusive for SFC members.
