Olkas, Bagtik make ornopia hoop finals
TEAM Olkas and Bagtik dispatched their respective semifinal foes to arrange a championship duel in the Lou Ornopia Basketball Tournament at the barangay Calambua open court in San Remigio town, northern Cebu.
Team Olkas had a walk in park in scoring a 77-70 win over Ilihan, while was pushed to the limit before ousting San Miguel, 74-71.
Prolific scorer Jei Dablo once again led Olkas with 34 points, helping his team dominate the game after ending the first half with a 29-23.
Bagtik, on the other hand, went through some anxious moments as it overhauled an 11-point halftime deficit with a scorching 28-11 run in the third period.
The tournament is one of the highlights of Calambua’s annual fiesta in honor of its patron San Vicente Ferrer on April 13, offers close to P30,000 in cash prize to the top performing teams.
