3-vehicle smash-up slows down NLEx traffic

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—Vehicle flow on two northbound lanes of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx), along the the San Simon-Apalit viaduct in Pampanga, slowed down at past 7 a.m. Saturday after at least three vehicles figured in a smash-up, reports from the traffic center of the Manila North Tollways Corp. said.
The MNTC, which operates NLEx, has yet to confirm if there were people hurt in the accident, which resulted in a 2-km stretch of vehicles traveling bumper to bumper on that portion of the expressway.
