Note: JV Ejercito Estrada provided this link to a YouTube video, his proof that he did not snub Janella
TARLAC, Philippines – San Juan Representative Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito Estrada on Thursday denied a television report that said he snubbed the daughter of Senator Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada.
In a statement, the UNA senatorial candidate clarified that he even endorsed his niece Janella as part of their local party slate in San Juan.
(How can that happen? I took her in as member of our party, and I wouldn’t talk to her?)
Sen. Estrada has expressed dismay over the incident, saying that he had been hurt.
But JV maintained that he had done no wrong to Janella and urged his niece to “shed light on this, because I have proof that I never snubbed her.”
(We have photos and video footage that will prove that she has been warmly received since the nomination process in the Magdiwang Party up to the campaign trail.)
He said that his half-brother Jinggoy should have asked him about the issue first, before reacting to what JV felt were the work of “political operators in the media.”
(If he cannot face me he can approach the people there at the proclamation rally in San Juan like our father former president Estrada.)
JV said that there was no tension between him and his half-brother and complained that he was tired of the “so-called Jinggoy-JV rivalry.”
