Will Kris Aquino still endorse bets? Bam Aquino doubtful
DASMARINAS, Cavite, Philippines – Kris Aquino’s endorsement of Team PNoy senatorial candidates is a plus but remains uncertain after she decided to shy away from the limelight following her controversial legal battle with ex-husband, James Yap.
No less than Kris’ own cousin, Team PNoy senatorial Bam Aquino, admitted that he is in the dark about this matter.
“Actually to be frank, I’m not really sure if she would campaign for the candidates or not,” Bam Aquino told reporters on Thursday.
“Of course, if she would do so, I’d really appreciate that. At this point, it’s important as a cousin, I want to support her. Let’s give her space,” he said.
An emotional Kris appeared on television two weeks ago to announce that she was resigning from all her TV shows after her brother’s name, President Benigno Aquino III, was dragged into her legal battle with Yap.

“I think it’s still a plus, definitely,” he said, responding to a question.
“But ako at this point, ang pinakaimportante galangin natin sya at bigyan ng espasyo para makapag focus sa kanyang pamilya (what is important is that we respect and give her space to focus on her family),” he said.
He also appealed to everyone to heed his cousin’s plea.
The senatorial bet also doubted the reported plan of Kris Aquino to run for vice president in 2016.
Though Kris has a heart for public service, Bam said his cousin had not mentioned anything about entering into politics.
