Soco campaigns in Capitol

WHILE other candidates are barnstorming in towns, vice gubernatorial candidate Glenn Soco visited the Capitol to meet and greet employees yesterday.

Soco, who’s running under the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP), entered the governor’s office and shook hands with people and employees and distributed leaflets bearing his photo and biography.

He also made his way to the legislative building where he called on acting Vice Gov. Julian Daan and shook hands with the employees. Not a few of them were stunned by his visit.

Soco said he informed Provincial Administrator Eduardo Habin that he will visit the Capitol as part of his campaign.

Magpale’s consultant, lawyer Chad Estella told reporters that Soco is welcome in the office since it is a public place.

“Bukas ra ang among opisina… Way gi-restrict sa atong office nga dili makasulod (Our office is open…there are no restrictions to anyone wishing to enter the office,” he told reporters.

Soco, who kicked off his campaign last Sunday, is the first candidate to visit the Capitol since the start of the 45-day campaign period of local candidates. Correspondent Carmel Loise Matus
