KABUL — NATO says one of its helicopters made a hard landing in eastern Afghanistan’s Paktia province.
The U.S.-led coalition said in a statement it was investigating the cause of the hard landing on Monday.
It says there was no enemy activity in the area at the time. NATO did not report any casualties resulting from the landing.
The hard-landing came after another helicopter was apparently shot down on Saturday in eastern Wardak province, killing 38 people on board. Two U.S. officials have said the chopper was rushing to help Army Rangers under attack.
