Number coding still lifted Monday – MMDA

MANILA, Philippines–The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reminded the public that the number coding scheme remains lifted Monday.

In its Twitter account, MMDA said the number ruling was still suspended in the whole Metro Manila, except for Makati City.

The full implementation of the coding scheme will resume in the metropolis on Tuesday, April 2, it said.

Under the scheme, vehicles with plate numbers ending in 1 and 2 are banned in major thoroughfares every Monday;  3 and 4 on Tuesdays;  5 and 6 on Wednesdays;  7 and 8 on Thursdays;  and 9 and 0 on Fridays.
