THREE men allegedly involved in two robberies in Mandaue City were arrested when police raided a suspected drug den in barangay Poblacion, Consolacion town, northern Cebu.

Edward ‘Pirot’ Pilapil, 27; John Ryan Ormegos, 23; and Jefferson Guaca, 33, were identified by witnesses as the ones who robbed JLDM Enterprises and DM Marketing last week.

Aside from Pilapil, Ormegos and Guaca, Jessie Manulat, 50, was also caught in the house allegedly using shabu.

Police said the three men are members of a ‘Laglag Bala Group.’

The group’s name was based on the way they operate where they leave a bullet in the establishment that they robbed probably to threaten the victims, said Senior Insp. Wilson Abot, chief of the Basak police station.

Abot said the group had just been formed when police arrested the three suspects./REPORTER JUCELL MARIE P. CUYOS
