Trader, daughter shot

DAGUPAN CITY

A businessman and his daughter were shot and wounded by a suspected robber inside their house in Barangay Bolosan here on Sunday, police said.

Investigators said Camille Edades, 26, was roused from her sleep at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday when she sensed that a man was inside their house. She called her father, Jimmy, who was in a nearby house, through her mobile phone. But as Jimmy, 49, entered their house, the suspect shot him in the right leg, police said. The suspect then turned to Camille and shot her in the stomach.
