30 dead in fire at refugee camp in Thailand—officials

BANGKOK—Thirty people were killed and many wounded Friday when a fire broke out in a camp in northern Thailand housing refugees from neighboring Myanmar, Thai officials said.

“The fire destroyed 100 makeshift houses,” said an interior ministry official. “There are 30 people dead and many injured.”
