Adoration Convent of Peace bares Holy Week activities
THE season of Lent is a period where the faithfuls observe the commemoration of Holy Week marking the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ through prayers, repentance, sacrifice, fasting and abstinence and good works.
The Pink Sisters of the Adoration Convent of Peace, with the assistance of partner lay ministers from the Adorers’ League, has lined up activities for the Holy Week.
On Maundy Thursday (March 28), there will be a spiritual conference at 6:30 a.m. and Liturgy of Our Lord’s Supper at 5 p.m.
On Good Friday (March 29), there will be a spiritual conference at 6:30 a.m. and Liturgy of Our Lord’s Passion at 3 p.m.
Fr. Roderick Salazar, Jr., SVD, will conduct a Lenten recollection on Black Saturday, from 8 a.m. to noon, immediately after the 6:30 a.m. spiritual conference.
Registration is free. The Easter Vigil starts at 8 p.m. with Fr. Dionisio Miranda, SVD, officiating.
