6 nabbed in drug raid

AGENTS of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Tuesday raided a suspected drug den in Valenzuela City. Police said the raid on the house of Mina Villasana in Barangay Karuhatan was carried out by virtue of a search warrant issued by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court. Villasana, they added, was also the alleged operator of the den. Aside from Villasana, the agents also arrested one of her sons, Joseph, for illegal possession of drugs. 2 ‘salvage’ victims found

THE BODIES of two men believed to be victims of summary execution were found on Tuesday morning in front of a school in Sampaloc, Manila. Both victims had been strangled to death, their faces wrapped in packaging tape before their bodies were stuffed into sacks. The police said the two had yet to be identified. Investigators described one of the victims as between 40 and 45 years old, 5’ 5” tall and clad in a white polo shirt and a pair of shorts. He had curly hair and a mustache, they added. The other victim was also between 40 and 45 years old, 5’ 3” tall and dressed in a blue and red striped polo shirt and camouflage shorts. The name “Jerry” was tattooed on his back. Azer N.
