A 58-YEAR-OLD female stay-in helper was stabbed by a man who tried to rob her in barangay Kalawisan, Lapu-Lapu City on Tuesday afternoon.
Lolita Segara, 58, was wounded in the right arm and back.
Police said Segara was tending a store in sitio Lato when the man arrived.
Police said the man suddenly grabbed the victim’s hand, pointed a knife at her and declared a hold-up.
Segara shouted for help. This prompted the robber to stab her and ran off.
The woman was brought to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital. She was later transferred to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City.
