SHS-AdC, UV meet in 13-U finals

FIERCE rivals Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) and the University of the Visayas (UV) clash once again for the title in the 13-under division of the 2013 ThreeSixty Pharmacy Cup after they hurdled separate opponents during the semifinals last Saturday at the SHS-AdC basketball courts along Mango Avenue.

The top-seed Magis Eagles survived the University of San Carlos, 38-35, while UV defeated the Cebu Eastern College, 45-27.

Meanwhile, CEC recovered in the 16-under division semifinals as it outran third seed SHS-AdC 1, 54-43, to arrange a showdown with defending champion UV.

USJR grabbed third place in the Under 10 age group as it nipped USC South, 22-21. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
