Aquino in Pampanga to campaign for Team PNoy

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines—President Benigno Aquino III arrived here on Friday to campaign for the candidates of Team PNoy.

Aquino entered the Heroes Hall in San Juan, San Fernando Pampanga shortly before 2 p.m.

Despite the President’s presence here, the moderator of the event,  Leah Navarro, told the audience that Aquino was still monitoring the situation in Sabah where several followers of the sultan of Sulu were reportedly killed and hurt after a firefight with the Malaysian forces.

Also present in the rally were Team PNoy candidates Ramon Magsaysay, Risa Hontiveros, Jamby Madrigal and Senator Alan Peter Cayetano.

Other candidates were represented by family members.
