MANILA, Philippines — Although the summer season draws near, the weakening northeast monsoon and easterlies will still bring brief rains in parts of the country, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.

Easterlies or winds coming from the east are affecting the eastern part of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

The entire archipelago will be partly cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms particularly over the province of Aurora, Eastern Visayas and the regions of CARAGA and Davao, it said.

Temperature in Metro Manila will range from 22 to 33 degrees Celsius in the next three days.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and coming from the northeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough.
