CEC, PPCBA drub foes in Omega Pro Online Cup hoops

THE Cebu Eastern College routed the CIT-U Thumbs Up, 66- 49 in the 12-and-under category of the Omega Pro Casino Active Online Cup over the weekend at the CEC gym.

The host squad took a, 31-21 lead at half time behind the 15 points combined output Leopoldo and Tapic.

In the 3rd quarter, Thumbs Up’s Mark Go proved unstoppable inside the lane but failed to counter CEC’s choking defense anchored on Melino CVasio and Tecson as the latter claimed its second victory.

Go led CIT-U with 18 points.

However, CEC’S team B was not as lucky as it fell to PPCBA, 41-61. It was PPCBA’s second win also in the 12-and-under category.
