‘Isang Milyong Sipilyo’ for Naga kids

CEMEX joined the Department of Health (DOH) in celebrating the Oral Health Month through its “Isang Milyong Sipilyo” program.

The program aims to give one million toothbrushes to day care and elementary school pupils of Naga City, Cebu.

Now on its 19th year, the activity was started by former town mayor of Naga, the late Ferdinand Chiong.

Mayor Valdemar Chiong continued the program that benefited a total of 57,000 children in Naga.

This year, Cemex headed by APO Cement plant director Normandy Chan is giving out 5,300 toothbrushes and toothpastes to eight elementary schools of Naga City.

Dr. Zenin Paulin, DepEd Naga City Division superintendent, expressed her gratitude for the continuous support of Cemex for this activity.
