Could rogers be SMB’s answer?
THE SAN MIGUEL Beermen hope to find the answer in newly acquired import Matt Rogers in what has been a puzzling season so far as they take on the Singapore Slingers in the Asean Basketball League today at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Rogers was tapped late in the week to replace the injured Brian Williams and it could not have come at a better time as the Beermen are coming off a 76-82 loss to the Westport Malaysia Dragons.
In contrast, the Slingers are high on momentum after they defeated the Saigon Heat, 76-72, last Friday.
The Beermen stand at an even 3-3 (win-loss) card while the Slingers are half-a-game ahead at 4-3.
