/ 06:30 AM February 24, 2013

THE Kenyans will be the runners to watch in the men’s side while local bets are expected to shine in the women’s side as the 3rd SM2SM Run gets underway early today at the Northwing parking area of SM City Cebu.

The Kenyans, headed by Abraham Missous, Josphat Kiptanui, Willy Rotich and Douglas Mwiti, have won one race after another in the past weeks and are expected to duke it out in the cash-rich 21-kilometer race. Some Kenyans may also run in shorter distances such as the 12-kilometer, or 6-kilometer categories.

Local running aces Mary Joy Tabal and Cristy Tutor, meanwhile, are figured to lord the distaff side.
