A 50-year-old woman was killed while another was injured after a bg rock fell on them while passing a road in barangay Lagtang, Talisay City, southern Cebu.
Police identified the fatality as Letecia Alcoseba, who suffered head innjuries.
Jovy Laborada was wounded in the shoulder.
The victims were on board a motorcycle driven by Laborada’s live-in partner Michael Briones.
Another passenger, Jason Briones, was unharmed.
Police said the incident happened around 8 a.m. yesterday in sitio Tangub while their motorcycle was passing a road where a widening project of the Department of Public Works and Highways was ongoing.
Police said a boulder rolled off the hill and landed on the passing motorcycle.
