Ad company accused of duping 15 people

FIFTEEN people yesterday sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation in Central Visayas (NBI-7) after they were purportedly duped by an advertising company.

The complainants claimed that they were not given the money which they ought to receive from Adzens Broken Corp.

“We made an investment. But they failed to give us what we are supposed to get,” said 24-year-old Rondio Tecson.

Tecson said he came to know about the company through a friend. He said the company asked them to click on the products advertised by the company on the Internet.

“The more clicks made, the more payment the advertising company will receive,” Tecson said.

Those recruited by the company were required to pay P1,500 as entrance fee and in return will receive P825 every month and products from the company.

Tecson said he was able to receive P2,500 in his first three months with the company.

But for the subsequent months, he said he hasn’t received any payment from the advertising company.

Tecson said he invested a total of P9,000 to the company.

The complainants, who are from different places in Cebu, demanded that their money be returned.

The complainants identified the company’s two cashiers as Bethel Roble and Grace Maglines.
