A 26-YEAR-OLD pedal-powered tricycle driver was shot dead by an unidentified assailant in barangay Guinsay, Danao City, northern Cebu.
Christopher Gimenez Perez was attacked while driving home in sitio San Antonio last Thursday afternoon.
The victim suffered gunshot wounds in the right arm, neck and head.
The victim was rushed to the Danao City Provincial Hospital but the attending doctor declared him dead.
Police said follow-up investigation is underway to identify the assailant and determine the motive of the killing./CORRESPONDENT GABRIEL C. BONJOC
