Classes suspended up to high school in NCR, other parts of Luzon—DepEd

MANILA, Philippines—Though there is no storm signal alert, classes are suspended up to high school, both private and public, at the National Capital Region and some parts of Luzon, according to Department of Education.

DepEd also suspended classes up to high school in Calamba City in Laguna, Rodriguez town in Rizal and Rosario in Cavite. In Macabebe town in Pampanga, classes from preschool to elementary are suspended.

In Manila, classes in all levels are suspended at the University of Santo Tomas and Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), said a report from 990AM Radyo Inquirer.  At the PUP, employees are expected to report for work.

In other schools for the college level, DepEd advised the public to contact their respective school authorities.
