A 58-YEAR-OLD woman died after she fell from the second floor of an old house in barangay Upper Labogon, Mandaue City on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the victim fell when the flooring at the second floor where she was standing collapsed.
Patricia Soco sustained bruises all over the body when she landed on the concrete floor.
Senior Insp. Ramil Morpos, chief of the homicide section of the Mandaue police, said the woman was the caretaker of the abandoned house which stood on a lot was which was already for sale.
Police said the woman had not gone home since Tuesday.
Police said it was possible that the woman inspected the house since there were buyers who viewed the house.
The woman’s 22-year son Arnold told police that it was their neighbors who found her mother slumped in the first floor of the house around noon Wednesday.
