POWERHOUSE teams Convergys and defending champion Teletech continued to stay on top of the heap after they scored contrasting wins last Saturday in the 2011 Powerade E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.
The Wolves survived a close encounter in a 68-62 triumph over erstwhile co-leader Lexmark Stallions, while the Titans handily defeated the Kyocera Frontiers, 64-45.
With the twin victories, Convergys and Teletech improved to 7-1 (win-loss). The Stallions slid to 6-2, while the Frontiers tasted their sixth loss against a solitary victory.
