Ex-Visayanian staffers set annual gathering
THE members of the Visayanian Staffers Alumni Association Inc. (VSAAI) will hold their annual gathering on Friday, Jan. 18 at the Ecotech Center in sitio Sudlon, barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
Among the members of The Visayanian, an official publication of the University of the Visayas, are retired Court of Appeals Cebu Executive Justice Portia Aliño-Hormachuelos, Freeman editor-in-chief Jerry Tundag, and Sun.star public and standards editor Pachico Seares, columnist-lawyers Frank Malilong, Elias Espinoza, Jesse Bacon of the Manila-based Daily Tribune, educators Dr. Susana Cabahug and Dr. Eladio Dioko, retired Judge Benjie Cobarde and retired former executive labor arbiter Rey Belarmino and attorney and retired general Fritz Quiñanola.
Another, member, the late Cerge Remonde, became a press secretary during the term of President Arroyo.
