Sinulog football kicks off today in different venues

07:32 AM January 12, 2013

A total of 195 teams will be seeing action today in three different venues in the cities of Cebu and Mandaue as the 3rd Sinulog Football Festival kicks off.

Matches will be played at football fields of University of San Carlos Technological Center (USC-TC), Paref Springdale and San Roque.

Some 15 more teams have been added from the number of participants last year, although there would have been more if some have not withdrawn their entries due to school exams while the others had to attend make-up classes, according to tournament chairman Francis Ramirez.
