MANILA, Philippines—Roughly P50,000-worth of properties were destroyed when fire hit a portion of a three-storey house in Manila early Friday, a city fire officer said.
Fire Officer 2 Lords Hernandez said at least two families were displaced after fire gutted two rooms of a house located along M. Jhocson Street in Sampaloc, Manila at 6:23 a.m.
The blaze reached fourth alarm before it was put out at 7:02 a.m.
He said investigators have yet to determine the origin and cause of fire, but added that no one was reported injured.
The fire reached fourth alarm, he said.
