Kopiko Supercross Series slated Jan. 26-27 at SRP
THE KOPIKO Astig 3-in-1 Supercross Series hold the first its 12-leg series in Cebu on Jan. 26 and 27 at the South Road Properties.
The racing event, spearheaded by Man and Machine Sports Promotions under the tutelage of operations manager Cebuano Jake Alcordo, is expected to attract top notch riders including foreign bets.
A pack of elite Danish riders have already confirmed their participation in the first leg of the nationwide motocross race. The race also expects riders from Malaysia, Thailand and Japan.
Aside from the foreign riders, the country’s best pro motocross riders such as Cebu’s Jon Eleazar Adlawan will also be competing.
The event features 13 categories including the underbone and habal-habal classes.
From Cebu, the races move to Bais, Negros Oriental on February. According to Alcordo, the series also will visit Bacolod, Dumaguete, Dipolog, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Roxas City and Ormoc. One leg will be held in Luzon.
