Up to 6 people collapse as Black Nazarene passes through Manila shrine

MANILA, Philippines – At least six people collapsed and were given medical treatment at the Liwasang Bonifacio Shrine in Manila as the procession of the Black Nazarene passed through the monument.

Carlo Galvez of the SEAL technical rescue team attributed this to over fatigue and hunger.

Galvez said they were asked to rest before they were released.
